We’re excited to announce a partnership with Woodinville based 21 Acres for our fall program.
With a mission to inspire action to solve climate challenges by learning as a community to grow, eat and live sustainably, it was only a matter of time before Slow Food Seattle and 21 Acres joined forces to develop an informative program on preparing your own sustainable, and, yes, slow food.
Join us on Saturday, 10/22 from 1:30 -3:30 PM for a hands-on fermentation class – Krazy for Kraut – led by culinary instructor, Rebecca Sornson and naturopathic doctor, Paul Despres.
Learn how to make sauerkraut, kimchi, and other pickled delights, sample lightly fermented fare, and prepare your own ferments to enjoy at home.
We’ve reserved 6 spots for our supporters; tickets now on sale!
Very limited tickets available – get yours before they sell out! Depending on availability, more tickets may be released by 21 Acres for this class, but don’t delay in reserving your spot.

Come early for the free, hour-long farm tour from 11 AM -noon, and make a day of it. Reservations for the twice monthly farm tours – every 2nd and 4th Saturday – are not required. Just check in at the 21 Acres Farm Lobby when you arrive.
Hope to see you at Krazy for Kraut next month. Both Slow Food Seattle and 21 Acres look forward to having you join us.
